To walk on shore

What happens when a mermaid is given 1 day to walk on shore with the man she loves?

Endless sea-foam ribbons twist along the shore left by waves, waves recalled into the sea. Many waves, their numbers never to be known.

There sits a lovely maiden Above so wondrous fair, With shining jewels laden, She combs her golden hair.

Lustrous teal scales are revealed to the illuminating sun

The water thrashes constantly and roars

She silently closes her eyes and listens to the ocean

Coral reefs fluorish in the waters underneath

She hums melodies from the ancient hymns

As the ocean waves crash toward the shore,

The night’s moonglades appear above the shallow water

For beneath the sky’s blue chandeliers we’ve been our own men, sought the stars

When Life does not find a singer to sing her heart she produces a philosopher to speak her mind.

Many a woman borrows a man’s heart; very few could possess it.

There comes a time when suddenly you realize that laughter is something you remember and that you were the one laughing.

why is it when you hug me, the world melts with us.

So I’ve fallen in love with you
